Over that year I have seen this team grow so much, whether that be in the number of dedicated new members, the team's willingness and eagerness to learn or how far we progressed in our competitions. Now, getting to district championships is an incredible achievement for this team, I think that the more important area of growth that I saw was the amount of dedication and time that each and every team member put in to help us get there.
This team is meant to be a space to grow and learn and this year I saw so many more people dedicated to building their skills and improving. (add some more things here)
While I may have joined the team four years ago looking to build robots I am leaving it now with so much more. I have learned about communication, leadership, business, team management and so many more skills that I never would have expected to learn about on a robotics team. FIRST and ChainLynx Robotics have been an integral part of my high school experience and I'm sure that I will draw upon the lessons and skills that I have learned from my time on the team for the rest of my life.
