On June 5th we will be having our end of year team banquet! This is where we will celebrate the end of the season, hold our transfer of power to new leadership and say goodbye to the seniors graduating from the team.

Please fill out [this RSVP form](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScL58pCEt009kK1FE-vmu_L_ASPUjOE-EA_x8GdLXiKRGvoIQ/viewform?usp=publish-editor) so we know how many people will be attending. Everyone is welcome including family members, relatives, friends and team alumni.

Here is an overview of the schedule for the banquet:

5:00 - 5:30 Dinner and socialization
5:30 - 5:40 Speech
5:40 - 6:00 Awards
6:00 - 6:10 Speech

6:10 - 6:25 Dessert break

6:25 - 6:40 Transfer of power
6:40 - 7:00 Senior farewell
7:00 - 7:30 Cleanup

For food the team is planning on catering Chipotle but we would like to have desserts and drinks be potluck-style similar to previous years. If you would like to bring something, please fill out your information in [this spreadsheet](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1LJbhh_VOLiLE_1_MaMQtZK7LtgLT3NltJAVOYB0VWfA/edit?usp=sharing) so we know what people are bringing. Please make sure to know any allergen information as well! 


# Parent Email

Hi ChainLynx parents and families,
With our season and school year wrapping up we are starting to look towards the last few things that will be happening on the team before we reach summer break. This year the team was able to build a robot and have it assembled weeks before we have ever had it ready before. We were also alliance captains at both of our first two events. At our second event we also were awarded the Autonomous Innovation award, the first time our team has received it. 

Based on our performance at these competitions we were also able to qualify and attend the Pacific Northwest District Championships for the first time in four years and first time ever without a rookie bonus. Thank you all so much for your amazing support that allowed us to attend all of our competitions and especially District Championships. We would not have been able to go without you and we appreciate all of your time, money and help.

There are a few more major things that our team has happening during the rest of the school year:

Exhibitions at Lincoln will be happening on 5/28 and ChainLynx will be exhibiting in the multipurpose room. If you are attending please come and stop by!

Lastly, as the team moves into our next season we would love it if you or someone you know is able and willing to become a mentor for our team. This is a great way to support your student and we are especially looking for parents who know about finances, accounting, advertising, team management, leadership. If you or anyone you know is interested, a great first step is attending the team banquet on 6/5 or emailing Mr. Myers at jrmyers@seattleschools.org
