One correlation that I have noticed in my own life is between the length of a climbing session and how tired I feel afterward. This is a positive relationship since the longer I climb for typically the more tired I will feel at the end of the session. Overall, I would say that the correlation is pretty strong since I will almost always feel more tired when I climb for longer although the amount more tired may vary based on other factors. Some of these other factors might include other exercise that I have done in the day, when, and what I ate and how much sleep I got the night before. All of these may make how tired I am at the end of a session more or less than typical since they affect my body in different ways. It is important not to immediately assume a cause-and-effect relationship between two variables because there are always other factors that will influence the outcome. Even if something does cause something else it will never be the only factor and it is important to consider what else might be involved. There are also many times where two variables might seem to have a cause-and-effect relationship but instead there are other factors that aren't as obvious that are the cause or it is a result of many different things.
