Overall, this course has been going pretty well for me and I have been learning a lot about machine learning. The assignments have mostly been good although there have been some times where they have been a little unclear. For example, it is possible that this was taught in a different class but it was not very clearly communicated what the format and requirements for a data_dictionary.txt are. I also couldn't find much online about an established standard although I might not have been looking in the right places. It would have also been nice if it was more clearly communicated that you can go outside of the requirements on the assignment page if needed to have a better pipeline. I enjoyed the project though and it was a lot of fun getting to apply the concepts we have learned to some data from start to end. I also like the format of having one dataset of your choice since I was able to choose something that was interesting to me and make some different decisions based on what was required for that data. I've had a great time in the class so far and look forward to learning more! |
