I have had a lot of fun in this course this quarter and I feel like I have learned a lot of new ideas and skills. I didn't know very much about machine learning going in and I am leaving the course with a much better understanding of many of the concepts and now I feel like I can approach machine learning problems with a much better idea of what I am doing and not just the steps to get there. I enjoyed the lectures and then the ZyBooks module after and I feel like that format helped to give me practice with the concepts along with the labs and projects as well as a few different ways to understand a topic. The projects were also a lot of fun and I think they were very helpful to go through the entire process and apply an entire pipeline from start to finish. They also helped me to be more confident in the tech interview since I felt like I had already gone through the whole process before. One thing that I might change is that the Kaggle learn assignment felt a little repetitive to me. I could see it maybe being helpful for some more repetition or another way to understand a topic but it didn't add very much for me. Overall I have had a great time and am glad that I was able to take this course! |
