@channel If there is no work for us to do on the late Monday meeting, I will shorten it back to one hour. All I see in the agenda spreadsheet is “get a robot working” which isn’t very helpful (thank you for filling it out though). If no one fills out the agenda, I have to assume that there is no work that needs to be done.
Please let me know what your department will be working on during the general portion of the Monday meeting. If your department doesn’t need to meet then, please let me know as well. We need to respect the time of students and mentors and so we need a concrete plan.

@channel
At the last officers meeting, we voted to change the meeting schedule starting *next week* until winter break. This is largely to increase the amount of meeting time that mentors can attend so that they can help with training and team work in-person.
The upcoming meeting schedule will be:
- Team meeting on Tuesday from 3:45-5:30 + 6:00-8:00
- Team meeting on Friday from 3:45-5:30 + 6:00-8:00
- Officers meeting on Friday from 4:30-5:30 (during the team meeting)
Both of these meetings will include a regular, directly after school portion followed by a late meeting. There will be a 30 minute break between the two for dinner.
If you are able, we would recommend attending the late sessions since that is when mentors are available for training, but it is okay if that doesn't work for your schedule.

## 3/24
@channel I wanted to let all of you know about a few things regarding the rest of our season this year.
Our season so far has been amazing and we have made so much progress as a team! Our season goal was to win at least 50% of our matches and with a record of 17-12 we have achieved that. I'm proud of how much we have been able to grow as a team this year and look forward to where it might lead in the future!
As many of you might know, there is a possibility that we will make it to the PNW district championships this year. The number of district ranking points we have puts us right at the boundary of being able to attend and with so many different factors and things that could still happen there is no way of knowing if we will be able to attend. With the last two events happening this weekend we should know if we qualify by the end of Sunday.
Please make sure to check slack and your and your parents emails for any updates regarding this. If we do end up going there will be a lot of deadlines coming up very quickly so if you would like to attend you will have to be keeping up with team communication.
Thank you all for an amazing season so far!

Elections for next year are coming up soon!
Platforms will be due on May 19th so if you would like to run for a position you should start thinking about what you would like to write. There will be a form sent out so submit your platforms and photos in the next week or two. At the meeting on May 19th everyone who submitted a platform will give their stump speech in front of the whole team to tell everyone why you should vote for them. Please make sure to come to this meeting! It is important whether you are running or not so you are informed about the candidates.
After May 19th everyone will have one week to cast their ballots. Ballots will be due at the end of the meeting on May 26th and results will be posted on slack shortly after. *Ballots are private and only Mr. Myers and mentors will be able to see them*. You must also get a physical ballot from Mr. Myers' room and turn it in sometime during that week.
We will be using ranked-choice voting again this year for our elections. If you do not know what that is, [this video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Z2fRPRkWvY) explains the process.
